Being that I haven't been going to get mani-pedi's anymore, due to not having the time or energy to pamper myself, I decided to take care of my feet at home. Purchased the Ped Egg which is suppose to turn your harse soles, into kissable heels. Yeah that didn't work. And my soles weren't that bad.
I thought I was going to have to scrub my foot raw with this thing. The following week instead of using the Ped Egg again, I used a food scrubber with some Dove soap. After getting out the shower I used Vaseline on my feet then a pair of socks. A few hours later my feet were smooth as a baby bottom.

Kissable Chapstick Lips
I'm guaranteed a bad day if I have chapped lips and nothing in my purse to take care of it. Yet with all the wonderful lipglosses in "lady land", there is one lip moisturizer that's never let me down: Classic Chapstick (Cherry of course).
Small enough to fit in my pocket, bra or coin purse, my chapstick has always been my very best friend. ***Tears*** I love you!
What keeps your lips kissable?

Natural Beauty 101: Honey
With so much already weighing on our shoulders, the last thing that should be a concern is staying beautiful without using harsh chemicals on our skin or paying an arm & leg for the best natural products. Below you’ll find a few tips on how to pamper hair & skin with the least expensive yet most valuable beauty product available: Honey!
Honey for your face:
1.Honey Mask: Apply pure honey to your face and allow it to set until dry. This will take about 15 minutes. Once dry, rinse your face with warm water. (you can also add vitamin E oil & almond oil for better results)
2.Honey scrub: Mix 1 teaspoon of honey with a little almond flour into the palm of your hand. Gently apply on your face for a facial scrub. Rinse your face with warm water to remove honey scrub.
3.Daily facial cleanser: Mix 1 teaspoon of honey with a little milk powder into the palm of your hand. Apply on your face to clean away dirt and makeup and then rinse with warm water.
4.Skin toner: To firm, smooth, and moisturize your skin, combine 1 peeled, cored apple with 1 tablespoon of honey in a blender. Pulse honey mixture until smooth. Gently apply honey mixture on face and allow it to remain for 15 minutes. Rinse your face with warm water to remove the honey mixture.
Honey for your body:
1.Body glow bath: To moisturize, smooth, and get an all over body glow, keep a jar of honey next to your bath. Apply honey on your skin and pat dry using both hands. While patting your skin, the honey will get sticky and gently pull up your skin. Rinse away the honey when you are done.
2.Honey bath: For sweet smelling and soft skin, add ¼ to ½ cup of honey to your bath water ( for a honey-milk bath add the same amount of milk or cream to your water).
3.Smoothing Skin Lotion: Mix 1 teaspoon honey with 1 teaspoon olive oil and ¼ teaspoon lemon juice. Rub into hands, elbows, heels & other dry areas. Leave on for 10 minutes then rinse off with water.
Honey for your hair:
1.Shiny Hair: To add some shine to your hair, mix 1 teaspoon of honey, a squeeze of fresh lemon, and 1 quart of warm water. Shampoo your hair as usual and then pour the honey mixture on your hair. Allow your hair to dry as normal. You do not have to rinse out the honey mixture (of course this is for those going natural days).
2.Hair conditioner: For healthy hair and scalp, combine ½ cup of honey and 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Saturate your hair with the honey mixture, put on a shower cap and allow it to remain on hair for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, shampoo and rinse your hair as you normally do.

In Love With Butter By Keba
I'm very much into creams & body butters that use natural ingredients. My all time favorite is Butter By Keba. I started using this product when the line only consisted of pure Shea Butter. The line now includes Georgia Tea Butter Butter, Green Tea, Coconut Bady Butter & much more. I've yet to try their new products but I can speak highly of the Shea Butter I once used. It worked so well that I searched high & low for more.
It works well on your body, as a hand cream, and foot moisturizer. Definitely a must have in your "Big Bag".

Letting A Friend Go
It's not always easy letting a friend go. Especially if that person has been in your life for many years & experiences. Yet we all must learn that those that are good to us aren't always good for us. The saying is very true: "Some are meant to be in our lives for a season and some for a lifetime".
It's up to you and you alone to decide who belongs in which category. It's a very difficult decision yet at one point in our lives, it's a move that everyone has to make.

My Really Good Friend: Green Tea
Green Tea never lets me down. We've been friends for a few years now but just recently we started getting really close. Especially after I found out about the benefits of drinking green tea to ward off cancer (mother had cancer).
I've cut back on caffeine in general and added more Green Tea to my diet. This should really be an option on all Drive-Thru menus. Right next to Coke, they should have Hot/Cold Green Tea!

My New BFF: Organix Nourishing Coconut Milk Collection
For 20 plus plus years I've battled with finding the perfect hair products for my beautiful semi-curly hair. And finally I've found my new BFF: Organix Nourishing Coconut Milk Collection!
The Shampoo & Conditioner left my hair ultra smooth and clean. Need I mention the sensual smell of Coconut Milk?! I felt like I was back in Hawaii.
After washing my hair I followed it up with Nourishing Coconut Milk Split Ends Mender, as I noticed my ends were in need of a little attention.
Best part of it all....Luxurious Sulfate Free & Paraben Free Formulas • Organic Active Ingredients • Amazing Scents • Safe For Color-Treated Hair • Safe For All Hair Types. I'm a sucker for Great Products!
They have a Shea Butter blend that I'm going try when this runs out. Yay!
